Description: This is a 1970s era Esso / Exxon tiger patch. It is new old stock and remains in great condition. The patch measures approximately 3 inches in diameter. Put a tiger in your tank! The tiger, who remained nameless, was a mascot for Esso / Exxon starting in the 1930s. The tiger was a symbol of trust and quality. In 1959, the tiger depicted on this patch came into use with the "Put a tiger in your tank" campaign. In 1973, Esso rebranded as Exxon. After that, the tiger was slowly phased out. Grab a piece of nostalgia and gas & oil history while they last. I have a limited supply of these and when they are gone... they are gone.
