The design of the Estonian euro coins is based on Estonia's contour map. €1 and €2 represent the outline of the Estonian landscape. In addition, the €2 coin shows the northernmost point of Estonia, Vaindloo island, the westernmost point, Nootamaa isle, the southernmost point near Naha and the easternmost point Narva Euro coins incorporate high-security machine-readable characteristics.
