Description: This is the book released last year by Peter Jesperson, the Minneapolis record store owner and music biz guy who famously “discovered” the Replacements in the ‘80s. This is the hardback copy first edition. I bought it new and immediately read it, and then put it safely on a book shelf, but I need to start to condense my book collection. It’s a fascinating read by a music insider who was on the “side” of the bands he worked with, not the corporate world. It’s a really great read just for the Replacements parts (a good part of the book for sure), but his other road and music tales make for a good read too. This hardcover book could pass for bookstore new, with no rips or tears or bent pages, and it has the original dust jacket. I only marked it “like new” here because there’s a small indentation on the rear of the dust jacket. Not a rip, and it very well may have been there when I bought it new at the store.
