Description: "European Ceramic Art from the end of the Middle Ages to about 1815: A Dictionary of Factories, Artists, Technical Terms, et cetera" is a 788 page, 7.75"x10.75" hardcover written by William Bowyer Honey and published by Book Collectors Society (New York) in a limited edition of 100 numbered copies (this being No. 49). There's no date of publication; it first appeared in 1949, published in London by Faber and Faber. It's bound in full green morocco with gilt decorations and title, hubbed spine, and built-on ribbon bookmark. There are four color plates, and many black-and-white illustrations. The book is in very good condition, with no dust jacket (as issued). The boards are rubbed at the extremities, show various small spots and scratches, some sunning to the spine. There are five regular indentations along the right edge, which seem to correspond to the hubs. There's an old price in pencil on the first flyleaf, but no other internal marks. Several pages at the front have foxing. The binding is tight. International buyers – please note: Import duties, taxes, and charges aren't included in the item price or postage cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
