Description: Kay Hendricks 1923-2005 Fresh from a fine old estate comes this excellent Kay Hendricks painting on paper, circa 1954. I believe this is a combination watercolor and tempura. Might even be a little acrylic or oil in the black part, not sure. Great rendering of a lone cowboy on horseback. She nailed the vibe on this one, right down to his cigarette. It is signed on the front and dated 5/14/54 on the back with an original price of $10. In overall good condition. Has some very minor discolorations in the lighter sky are (pictured), but doesn't really detract. The frame has some paint loss and scuffs. Matte has a few light marks. It doesn't have glass and it might benefit from that for protection purposes. Frame measures 14 1/2" by 11 1/2" and image field is 8 1/2" by 5 1/2". Thanks for looking and good luck!
