This impressive trilobite is a full SEVEN INCHES LONG - WOW! The detail of the thick shell exoskeleton is very nice - the small pustules on the surface are easily seen. The pleural spines terminate in sharp points, and the broad, fan-shaped pygidium is wonderfully displayed. The GIANT fossil has very nice color and contrast and is well centered on the LARGE, semi-squared plate of dense shale. And, again, the bug is SEVEN INCHES LONG - only two or three complete Arctinurus ever found are seven inches!!!
