It is in USED condition but was found in an old fishing shed. These old wood bait holders were used by commercial fishermen to keep the bait in their crab traps. Commercial fishermen here in Washington used these in their traps to keep the Dungeness Crabs from stealing the bait. The lid easily hinges to load your bait into it. The wood part measures about 7 inches long x 3+1/2 inches wide x 3+1/2 inches tall. Local fishermen have long changed to plastic and stainless steel so we don't find many of these anymore.
