RCIN 40063 and 40009). King George V of the United Kingdom bought a larger one in 1912 from Fabergé London. A nephrite elephant of identical dimensions but with ruby eyes, by Fabergé, was sold for 18,750 GBP at Christie's London on May 28, 2012, lot 236. In Regards to the physical condition of this figurine, there are (visible) signs of scratches or chip or damage marks in the Jade. Condition is perfect to like new.
