Fantastic Golden Vintage 1970's Lucerne Swiss Mechanical Watch

Description: Presented today we have a gorgeous vintage Lucerne golden tone Swiss manual wind watch with linen textured bezel. This beautiful piece is powered by the Swiss single jewel BFG 158 manual wind movement. While a very clean and pristine movement it is however not currently running so it is being sold as is for repair. The balance is good and it wants to run with a little rotation but will not stay running. A good service should be all it needs to get it to a reliable runner again for years to come. The movement is tucked safely and securely inside the 34mm wide without the crown and 40mm lug to lug golden tone case. This case has a lug width of 18mm and has been fitted to a original vintage Voumard 2000 strap with golden tone buckle. Voumard was an affiliate of Lucerne who made a crownless manual wind watch at the time so it is period correct and likely original. The case has a lovely linen like texture on its bezel area which adds not only uniqueness to the piece but a great visual charm as well. There is some age wear in areas around the case and Ive tried to show anything significant but for being 50+yrs old it is in brilliant condition. The case has a snap back case with a brush finish. The push pull crown winds and sets the time. The acrylic crystal is in fine condition and encapsulates a beautiful silver sunburst finish dial. This dial has lovely golden markers that match the golden hand set very well. The elegantly printed Lucerne name is clear bold and legible. All in all this is one stunning vintage piece just waiting to be enjoyed again by the next collector for years to come.
