Fun Fact: Although it didn't win, the Zelazny novelette first published here was in the running for both a Hugo and Nebula Award. Murray Leinster was a pseudonym for William Fitzgerald Jenkins. Leinster is credited with having written approx 1,800 stories in hundreds of periodicals, novels and collections. His career began in 1913, spanning roughly 60 years. He was an inventor, and was known to put his inventions into his stories. I will happily answer any further questions.
