We all know who Fender is and they entered the effect pedal market a few years ago. Their recent Hammertone Series of pedals are quality pedal geared towards the budget conscious player. Don't confuse budget with being cheaply made. They are not. Solid builds with quality parts and all the desired tone you need. The Hammertone Fuzz is patterned after those early classic fuzz tones. Horn-like at times. Rip roaring at times. Splatty at times and then you turn on the octave with the mini toggle. Inside there is an internal trim pot to tame the high end. So, a wide vareity of fuzz sounds and tones can be had. You will not regret buying this pedal. See last paragraphs more details. I was able to buy two of these great pedals from a music store that went out of business. Both were new when I purchased them. I only need one, so someone is going to get an awesome pedal.
