Description: Fender precision bass fretless vintage 1976. Condition is Used.  Manufactured in Fullerton California 1976 Bass is in very good almost near mint condition there are a few minor scratches on the back please see photos If possible look at the photos on a large screen to really see the great condition of this instrument. I am the original owner I purchased it at Mannys music store on west 48th St. in Manhattan New York City back in 76. It was a special order they didn’t have them in stock you had to pre-order the instrument The reason the bass is in such good condition is that it was rarely taken out of the house I did a few gigs with it but not many gigs called for a fretless bass. I have rarely seen this bass anywhere else I think Sting used the same model in the police video for Roxanne (please note that Sting did not play this particular bass) The bridge and pick up covers are missing I took them off the day I bought it and have no idea where they are now but otherwise everything is original no modifications have been done on this instrument Bass is in excellent working condition Sounds and plays just like it did the day I bought it Hard shell fender case is included please note that the case is not the original from 1976 I will ship and insure it through the UPS store The bass weighs approximately 8lbs 5.7ozs The bass weighs 18 lbs. 11 oz. in the case Free shipping and insurance included This is a rare and quite beautiful instrument Any questions feel free to ask thank you for looking
