The Road Worn series player Strat featured a lacquer finish that was announced at the 2011 NAMM SHOW and became a hot topic at the time of its release. Alder body (Road Worn Nitrocellulose Lacquer), maple neck (Road Worn Urethane), medium jumbo frets, rose fingerboard, and truss rod adjustment on the head side. It was originally an HSS spec, but has been boldly modified, with medium jumbo frets and a modern C-grip neck for high playability and an attractive look. The PU and pickguard knobs have been replaced, and the pegs have been replaced with Fender lock pegs.
