DUAL RECTIFIER HAND WIRED ALL TUBE 5E8 - A CIRCUIT WITH DUAL 6L6 OUTPUT TUBES & 3 SPECIAL DESIGNED MERCURY MAGNETICS TRANSFORMERS. WEBER DESIGNED 57 STYLE ALNICO MAGNET SPEAKERS PRODUCES 40 WATTS OF PURE VINTAGE TUBE TONE IN A SOLID PINE FINGER JOINTED CABINET WITH VINTAGE TWEED COVERING, BUILT JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL 57! BUILT BY FENDER BY HAND WITH PRIDE IN THE U.S.A. PURCHASED NEW BY RAINBOW RECORDING STUDIO'S in 2011 AND HAS SPENT ITS ENTIRE PAMPERED LIFE IN OUR SMOKE FREE STUDIO ENVIRONMENT WITH ITS COVER ON IN A ROOM WITH MANY OTHER VINTAGE & COLLECTIBLE GUITAR AMPS, SO it HAS BEEN USED LITERALLY ONLY A FEW TIMES. IN SHORT LOOKS & FUNCTIONS PERFECTLY LIKE NEW. This Twin has had about $600 in upgrades done: first both the pair of 5U4 rectifier & the pair of 6L6 output tubes where replaced with NOS RCA USA tubes. The pre-amp tubes have been replaced with Russian 12AT7 (position one) & 12AY7 (positions 2 & 3) the 4th position is the only original Fender 12AX7 (this was done for voicing) and can easily be changed back to factory config with12AX7 straight across if you want less headroom & more distortion, Capacitors have been replaced with blue Sprage 500volt for more clarity, punch & reliability (otherwise amplifier is original) comes with cover shown in photos. Super clean like new, 1957 Fender vintage U.S.A. look, feel & tone. Has been thoroughly tested and it performs & sounds better than new! Local pick up is free.
