The Good + original schumacher reverb and output transformer. + Lower voltage power transformer for more overdrive + Normal channel has a tube added, its right after the input. A 12ax7 wired as a cathode follower, then to the tone stack, then to a EF86, then on to the Phase inverter and output section ( This represents the normal channel) You will need a low noise EF86 for the normal channel to work. The Bad - it needs a reverb tank and there is a slight hum when turning the reverb control past about 3. It never bothered me since i dont use tonnes of reverb anyway. You will have to buy an EF86 for the normal channel. The amp works and sounds good. Breakup and overdrive starts early at maybe 3 on the volume control. This amp was designed to have very little clean headroom and lots of overdrive. The EF86 normal channel is a monster and the vibrato channel sounds awesome. The amp is currently loaded with a 5v4g rectifier tube, RCA black plate 6L6GC , a mix of US made 12ax7 tubes, you just need to buy a EF86 tube. I recommend the Genalex Z729 or Philips or Telefunken EF86 tubes. You need a reverb tank for a super reverb, twin reverb, deluxe reverb, or vibroverb, any should work, and a 4 ohm load speaker cabinet to get going. I recommend tube depot for the new reverb tank : Accutronics 4AB3C1B Reverb Tank You may want to troubleshoot the hum in the reverb circuit , its not unplayable, but its not as quiet as i would expect. For this reason, i have decided to list it at a very very reasonable $500 starting bid. The head cabinet is wrapped in leather with a cane grille cloth. Shipping is a best guess, and it may be less and it may be more, i have no idea where the winning bidder lives, and dont know the package details until its packed.
