This is a hand blown vase (see pontil on base) with early favrene decoration. Yes, you can tell they were just starting to work on it. Likely Barber or Fetty due to the oval dashed Fenton logo on base that accompanies their pieces from 1975 & 1976. As Barber is well documented at preferring sample pieces, we are attributing to him. Original Fenton Gift Shop price sticker marked "sample". Stands 5 1/2" tall x 4" wide. Condition is very good with no chips, cracks or hairlines. Hand blown with early Favrene application. Has glaze flaws from time of making. Slight lean . . all the fine characteristics of hand blown piece. Returns are accepted when notification is received within 7 days of receiving the item.
