Description: A beautiful collectible set of four U.S. postage stamps issued on May 30th 1951 commemorate the Final Reunion of the United Confederate Veterans. The design depicts a United Confederate Veteran as he appeared in 1951 in the center of the stamp and behind him, as a young Confederate soldier. In the upper left corner of the design is an hourglass representing time, most of which has run out as indicated by the sand in the lower half. These stamps have never been used and are as fresh as the day they were sold at the Post Office over 70 years ago! Suitable for framing, they would make a great gift for anyone interested in civil war history! Look in my other auctions for blocks of stamps of other historical significance including more Civil War blocks! All stamps are Mint Never Hinged. Shipping is $1.00 for first class mail. Additional stamp block auctions won, paid for in one COMBINED transaction and shipped at the same time are only 25 cents extra per auction (sheets and booklets not included), with a maximum shipping charge of $5.00, no matter how many auctions you win. Please pay for all of your auctions in one payment. All payments are to be in US currency only. I send stamps out when I receive your payment or the day after if the mail has already gone out. Thanks for looking at my auction. If you have any questions, please email me before bidding.
