Description: On offer is this fine, antique, James Woolley Sons & Co (Manchester) aneroid barometer. An imposing piece which has been mounted in a carved oak diamond shaped mount. The dial of the barometer looks to be bone china, with brass rim, red and black detailing. Thick bevelled edged glass cover. Two needs - one to set the current pressure to note any changes with air pressure.Dimensions: 33cm x 49.9cm. Raw unpackaged weight of 2.381kg.In good condition - ready to hang. There looks to be some crazing to the face. No chips or cracks to dial or glass. Brass casing is unpolished. I haven't set it to know if it works well, but I cannot see a reason why it wouldn't. Please consider photos.
