This beautiful Edwardian solid 9k warm rose gold double Albert chain would make a stunning choker necklace or a lovely pair of bracelets, the chains have fabulous graduating curb links, the ends with solid 9k rose gold dog clips and the center with a dropping solid 9k rose gold T bar. The dog clips, T bar and every link is stamped '9 375', the T bar has a partially rubbed maker's mark which is most likely 'S.T.O' for the late Victorian London chain and accessory maker Sidney Thomas Oldridge of Grey & Co.. The chains, dog clips and T bar test for 9k gold. The chain measures approximately 15 inches long with an additional 3/4 inch drop for the T bar. The curb links graduate from about 8.6mm long down to about 6.9mm long. The dog clips are about 23mm and 20mm long and would hold chains up to about 5.5mm and 4.5mm wide respectively. The chain weighs approximately 37.6 grams. The chain is in excellent condition with light general wear. The dog clips have strong springs and work well.
