The cheeks and sole have some typical pitting and there is some red paint loss. I believe it is made out of aluminum., very light weight...The plane measures approx., 3-1/4"L. x 1-1/4" W. The cutter is unmarked it measures: 1-3/4" L x 1" W. The plane is in previously used condition. It might need to be sharpend. It weighs a mere 1oz.
