Description: Vintage Printing Letterpress Block. The block is approximately 1 inch by 1 inch. Approximately 0.85 in thick. Subject matter is: I'm told it is what is called a firefighters scramble; a fire helmet over a ladder, pike pole, torch on the end of a pole - used for lighting the way in front of the horses and 2 speaking trumpets - used for shouting orders on the fireground before radios. I haven't tried to polish this up or anything but it probably could become shinier if somebody decided to do that. Some of the pictures where it's clearer or shinier is because of how I positioned the lighting in the room. The detail is cool though. See pictures for current condition. . Thanks for looking.
