Despite the punky spalt it is a remarkably sturdy piece of wood. There are no voids or splits in the spalted area and it should be a joy to work with. Keeping in mind it is spalted, so the usual precautions are still recommended. Wood: Big leaf maple. Dimentions: 22" long, 14.125" wide at the bottom, 12" wide at the horns of a strat, and is 0.27" thick Details: Cut from dry well seasoned stock, moisture content is at 8%.
