Some dust in the tight areas as well as some iron filing due to strong magnet. I see no significant rust or damage. Arm and shaft moves smoothly and tightens correctly. The bubbles are good and accurate. Strong magnet holds the unit tight against large pipes, girders, or beams. Used to properly mark an area on a pipe for a cut and / or weld. It has a hard white marker (wax or polyurethane?) to mark the metal pipe/beam. I believe the unit is whole? I believe it is an older unit, possibly vintage? Selling as is. *I do not have the original case. Item will be very well padded and well packaged. Feel free to ask questions.
