It is loose twisted pairs, but every 20" there is a section holding it together. Provides some very nice wiring look opportunities. Looks to be about 2 1/2" inch's wide. Sold by 20 inch sections. You are buying in 20 inch long increments (continuous). Because of the way this wire is made, there is a binding every 20 inches.
