Description: This auction is for 3 individual size #6* Natural/Brown MR. HANKEY MOUSE fly patterns. High quality hand tied flies perfect for Trout, Bass and other Warmwater Species. This pattern is made of a 2mm brown buoyant foam top trimmed to a very realistic shape over natural brown rabbit for that "mousey" look from underneath. Also has a stripped leather rabbit strip for a tail and is tied on a black steelhead hook with up-eye to help suspend the front foam lip for optimal disturbance in the water as it is stripped or swung. Then it has a bronze stinger hook on 20# wire coming out the back end to get those tail biters!!! This is a great general pattern for all-purpose trout and bass fly fishing. These flies usually sell for over $4.00 EACH. This is a steal of a deal!!!NOTE: Usually, the front hook point is cut off on this pattern, but I left it on for the angler to cut off if they want. I find that leaving it on helps to not only "keel" the fly better (land and swim right side up), but it gives another option for hooking the fish.*Size pictured does not necessarily reflect the size of this auction.
