Description: TIME FOR FALL PLANTING FOR SPRING BLOOMS!!! These are very well established first year Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea) rosettes… LIVE PLANTS. Most have been growing since April 2024. These will spike this spring 2025. The original plants date back to the 1990s and they come back every year in force from 10s of thousands of seeds. These are all rescues (last photo) from spontaneous seed spread in my garden. Can’t bear to cull them. They were dug up, allowed to establish in coir, and then eventually transplanted to 3.5” pots in miracle gro. They have been growing outdoors in the PNW and are hardened and have tons of roots. In the garden, we have them in full sun to partial shade. No guarantees on color. The majority will have pinkish purple flowers (see photos of blooming sibling plants from our garden this spring), but a rare few may be more pink or even white. In the PNW, these flower from around May to July. Bees love them. These are biennials which flower in the second year and die but come back each year from seeds. Lots and lots of seeds. NOTE: May prune larger leaves for shipping. NO SHIPPING TO THE FOLLOWING STATES: Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Washington CAUTION! All parts of this plant are toxic to humans and animals. Grow away from vegetable gardens and out of reach of pets and children.
