In 1981, Topps did not produce World Series cards for each game of the previous year's Series, as they had done many years in the past and also in the future. I have taken matters into my own hands by creating custom cards for each of the 6 games, and alternate Game 2 card, AND a celebration card. The cards are printed on 11 mil thickness matte finish photo paper (much thicker than standard printer paper but not quite as thick as a Topps baseball card, closer to '81 Donruss). Cards feature photos of key players that were actually from the game depicted. Players featured include MIKE SCHMIDT, GEORGE BRETT, TUG McGRAW, BOB BOONE, WILLIE AIKENS, BAKE McBRIDE, and WILLIE WILSON. The cards also have full printed backs with game information. Cards are cut on a large paper cutter so the edges are straight and sharp. They measure approximately standard card size of 2-1/2 inches by 3-1/2 inches, and will fit in storage pages or sleeves/holders very nicely.
