Allow the corn to absorb the water for about 20 minutes or until fully rehydrated. You do not need to rehydrate the corn if you are using it in a recipe as the corn will rehydrate in whatever liquid is being used. We freeze dry and package all products in house. Each bag of Corn is packaged in a 7 mil mylar pint bag. Each package is heat sealed with an oxygen absorber inside. Stored this way, these freeze-dried products have a 25-year storage life.
