French Large Porcelain Statue Figure of Parisian Woman in Vion & Baury Style.

Description: Rare 19th century, French large porcelain statue of Parisian woman made in the style of Vion & Baury. The statue stands on domed pedestal and is heavy (weight 4.4 lbs or 2 kg). There is small technological hole on the bottom. There is no manufacturer’s mark found. Very similar to Vion et Baury style sculptures. The woman dressed in fashion style that had been popular in the period of French Revolution 1789-1794. Women wore hats with ribbons, the skirts remained full, necklines began to dip and the waistlines rised & transformed into the empire silhouette. The fabric of underneath skirts often featured 3 colors stripes of French national flag: blue, white & red (or similar to red). Condition: it is 19th century antique piece and may have small manufacture defects that do not affect the beauty & appearance of the piece. There are some small cracks that turned black and 2 small chips: 1 on pedestal & 1 on the end of blue ribbon (see last 2 pictures +collage picture).
