The hand embroidery is gorgeous! There are beads, sequins and silver thread ~ this work is all done by hand. The lower fabric is silk.~ ~ a wonderful piece of textile history ( I found others in the collection, to view the others simply search my store for the word headdress and they will appear! ) MEASUREMENTS : the maximum width , laid flat is about 5 inches and the length on the side edges is about 5 inches.
