Gilbert American Flyer S Gauge #312AC Pacific Locomotive & Tender

Description: This one offers a Gilbert American Flyer S gauge #312AC Pacific 4-6-2 locomotive and tender. There is a '1949' stamp on the underside of the cab shell. The engine runs well in both directions, and the reverse unit cycles and functions fairly consistently. The smoke and choo-choo are functional. The wiring harness from the tender to the engine has been replaced, as has one set of fingers in the reverse unit. The ladder at the top of the steps on the rear of the tender is missing. There is some oxidation on both the tender and boiler shell that is mostly concentrated on one side. I've included some close up pictures of that. The wire siderails are missing on both sides of the boiler. Finally, the boiler front is a little loose. Although there are some issues, this is a pretty clean engine and should make a very nice operator. TCA #97-45581.
