Description: I used them each no more than a couple of times several years ago and have had them stored in a drawer for a long time. I got a Gregory backpack with the integrated solar panel and used that instead. They are in excellent condition. The included Guide 10 is useful with rechargeable AA batteries of the nickel-cadmium variety. The adapter for AAA batteries is included. You can buy the batteries at Walmart or get them from Amazon in a 4-pack. I used the AA batteries in my Garmin Handheld GPS. Usually I would carry 8 batteries: 2 in the GPS, 2 spare, and 4 in the charger. I could go 9 days on the trail and be able to use my GPS the whole time.
