Description: Goebel Butterfly Collection Study Floor Set Accessory. #725-PO. Made in 1979. A vintage rare accessory from the Goebel Butterfly Collection in 1:12 scale. Goebel made a line of finely detailed miniature furniture and accessories for a very short time,1979-1980. The furniture is difficult to find today and the accessories that were sold for the same line are rather rare. This grouping of an open book with papers strewn around it, item #725-PO, was made in 1979, and designed to be used with the Stuart Library Collection or The Chippendale Drawing Room set. The open book and papers were assembled into a group. They were intended to be used as a group and lay on the floor on on a table. The group is unmarked. The set is in overall good condition - especially considering it is 45 years old. The original gold foil box is in good condition. Please look at all the photos as they are part of the description. This listing is for the book/papers group, and box only - the last photo is of an advertisement showing the grouping and is not included. 1:12 scale. The approximate size is 1 1/2" X 2". The Goebel Butterfly Collection of miniature furniture and accessories were made by Hummelwerk, Inc. Box GM2, 250 Clearbrook Road, Elmsford, NY 10523, the USA branch of the German Goebel Company. Wilhelm Goebel and Robert C. Rowe were instrumental in the design of the line. I will combine shipping on multiple purchases. This comes to you from a pet free, smoke free home.
