The GIA charges $150 or more PER ITEM to certify a stone. You are always welcome to return an item if we have made a mistake or you don't like it. I would never knowingly mislead you. Measurements and carat weight are estimates and are not exact.ACID TESTING INFO: Vintage items will always have wear and stamps are often worn off or impossible to see. This is why we acid test every item. When we show the acid test, the scratch glows blue for sterling silver and disappears with plated metals. Some items will have acid marks or scratches from testing. We do our best to hide the testing area so you don't see it.
