Description: Very special dress handmade by a lady in Africa 20 years ago. The little girl pictured (about age 5 at the time) is now grown. We have studio pictures in the dress, so it’s ok to let it go now to another little girl. It has been carefully stored indoors in a non smoking environment and is preserved like new! Pictures don’t do justice to the brilliant colors. Skirt is straight with split in back as shown. Skirt and tunic are both fully lined. All made in high quality comfy cotton. The man pictured was laying carpet for us. He thought she was so cute and said his wife in Africa could make her a dress. She made it and sent it over, and he brought it to us as a gift. What a kind, generous person he was! We haven’t seen him again but I’m sure he is still spreading sunshine. Skirt is 24” long. Tunic is 11.5” shoulder to shoulder with square neckline. Sleeves are 11” shoulder to hem. Elastic waist is 8” across. Sash is 44” long x 2.5” wide.
