Shop now for one-of-a-kind gifts (And avoid the crowds) This beautiful dark blue Brush Pottery handmade Arts and Crafts vase is a wonderful example of Brush’s famous Onyx glaze, which features a ‘crystalline’ drip over a solid base color- this dark, rich, blue was introduced in 1925. The vase made by a master potter who gave it a beautiful, symmetrical form and the clean lines of the American Arts and Crafts movement. It is 6.25" ht. by 5" d. and weighs a solid 1 lb. 14 oz. Other than it has two old, very small chips on the edge of the base, one repaired, and neither are noticeable and there are no other chips, cracks, repairs, or restorations on this lovely piece. Brush-McCoy introduced this beautiful blue onyx glaze in 1925, and the heavy base and smooth-walled, symmetrical form indicates this vase is an early piece. This is the first time this lovely vase with its outstanding glaze has been listed, and it could be a great addition to a collection, a superb standalone piece, or a wonderful gift!
