The trim is beautiful, the Conklin Pat 5-28-18 Gold Filled clip shows no brassing and the dazzler Gold Filled band is decorated with background vertical lines and polished zig-zags all around. The 14K Gold Conklin nib is a Medium with just a touch of flex. The knurled barrel end turns to the left and right, the end is imprinted FULL and EMPTY. The very top of the rounded cap has a stunning area that is an oily vaseline-caramel color and almost transparent save a single black vein This is an absolutely gorgeous and scarce high-grade Art Deco fountain pen – the condition is wonderful, the deep, glossy colors sparkle with every movement and the Gold Filled trim looks like a million dollars.
