Description: Welcome to my auction! This week I am listing a gorgeous redressed Cissy doll wearing a dress made by a well known seamstress. The doll herself is 20" tall with hard plastic body and soft vinyl jointed arms. Her knees are also jointed for posing. Her face is lovely with light blush, full lashes, amber eyes, nice brows, eye shadow and red lips. Nice matte finish to her face. She has not been repainted or repaired in any way.She is wearing a reproduction of the dress Cissy wore in 1955 and it has a white cluster corsage of flowers on the left side of dress and is 3/4 in length. It normally came in red or a light blue and not many were made in yellow. The dress is lined with vintage yellow organdy and also has a yellow slip and matching panties to complete her outfit. She has original Cissy stockings and gold strap repro high heels. Her hair has a gorgeous deep red color and is pulled to the back into a flat cluster of hair held with a original gold hair tie. I have added 3 hair pins to the hair to give it a little glam. Her jewelry is a rhinestone bracelet and rhinestone earrings. She has no cracks or odors. The original dress can be seen in Kiley Shaw's 1st book in red and blue. From smoke free home.
