Description: Gorgeous vintage KENT V14B shaving brush. A massive brush. In excellent condition with only a few tiny nicks/scratches. Almost perfect for age. Over 4 1/2 inches tall and two inches wide, with with a knot over 33m. I believe this brush is from the 1960's. Stamped V14B - KENT. I believe this is a badger and boar mixed knot, or possibly badger and nylon. I have ultrasonically cleaned and sterilized the knot. I used it a few times and it was surprisingly firm, a bit on the scritchy side, but worked very well. Total Height of brush is 118mm Handle Height is 57mmKnot size is 33.9mmLoft is 61mm Brush weights 132 Grams I am included a few pages from a Kent catalog from the 1930's. It has listed the V14 brush. This was the largest of the VASE shaped handle brush line. Just shows this line of brush history.
