Description: A gorgeous antique 8x11 print showcasing flowers and herbs. The paper is yellowed with age, especially around the edges, but is still fairly intact. A beautiful piece from the 1814 publishing of Culpeper's Complete Herbal and English Physician, a historical guide to herbal remedies. Would look beautiful framed, or perhaps incorporated into a gardening journal. The artwork appears to have been made by printing the outline, then hand-painting the colors in, and all paint colors are still clear despite the age. Some representations are stylized somewhat, but all are easily identifiable. Please note that all pages have some age staining, which varies between pieces and is easily visible in the photo.
