Description: Antique Gorham, sterling silver .925, handled bowl (possibly open sugar) in a scarce 1869 Bacchus No. 645 pattern, & is NOT monogrammed. The bowl measures approximately 4 inches wide (end of Bacchus to Bacchus), 6 1/4 inches tall, 2 5/8 inches wide at the bottom base, weighs 5.490 ozt., & is marked on the bottom with the Gorham lion, anchor, G hallmark, sterling, a B for 1869, & No. 645. The bowl is in antique estate condition as follows; THERE IS SCRATCHING, WORN INTERIOR WASH, THERE ARE SMALL DENTS & DINGS, MAINLY AROUND THE SIDES OF THE BODY, & THE BASE IS A LITTLE UNEVEN WITH A SLIGHT WOBBLE. THE DOUBLE HANDLE APPEARS A LITTLE UNEVEN. WEAR IS CONSISTENT WITH THE AGE OF THE PIECE & NORMAL USAGE. THERE IS GLARE & REFLECTION IN THE 12 PHOTOS.
