Spring '90 Tour !! This is a Very Rare & Collectible G.D. Backstage Pass in the fact that only a handful of ' Underwater ' themed ( & Fish ! ) Passes were made as Backstage Passes for Grateful Dead Shows ! - and most, if not all of them ... were made in the 1990's Era ( 1990 - 1995 ). And, naturally ... with Jerry Garcia's favorite Hobby / Past-Time being the ' Underwaters ' & and Scuba Diving ! this makes this Dead Pass even Cooler !! The image on this one definitely looks fairly-deep somewhere with some pretty fresh water ! This Fish definitely looks comfortable checking-out any onlookers or visitors - as from the looks of it ... since he/she definitely has some seriously-cool places to hide ! The Colors on this one just simply Rock ! in a Totally-Bright & Vivid ! fashion. Definitely one of the Coolest ! Underwater / Fish Passes ever issued for the G.D. !! And as for The Omni ? Definitely one of the best places to catch Spring Tour - as Touring in the South ! was always nice & laid-back. The last run I caught there was the Spring '92 3-Show stand - and the Ticket scene in the lot was nearly about as tough as I could ever remember seeing !?! Always very ' cattle-like ' ( ha ! ) trying to get in through the Omni big-glass doors ! - but once you're inside ... it's all Live-Dead Bliss !! I actually remember seeing a G.D. video one time - and Garcia was cracking a joke about how the 1st time the band played there - there were " only like 50 people in the crowd ". Maybe then, but certainly not in the Early 90's !?!?! I'd get into how Incredibly-Hot !! this still-with-Brent ! on the keys G.D. unit really was in '89 & '90 - but I think the " Spring 1990 Box Set " certainly did a pretty nice job reminding all of us about this Fantastic ! Dead Tour. Just like Bob Weir said ( fairly-recently ! ) ... " We were Really-Hot ! in the Late-80's & Early-90's " ... you betcha Bobby ! and then-some !! Hah !! This Final Spring '90 " Tour-Closing " Show on 4/3/90 was-indeed a Red-Hot ! Scorcher !! ... as it included an Estimated > Scarlet ! to open the 2nd Set !!?!
