Great Pair Miniature Canvasback Duck Decoys by John Wood Vintage Original

Description: VERY FINE PAIR OF MINIATURE CANVASBACKS by John Wood, Venice, FL. Excellent original paint and structural condition. Both with raised wing tips and fluted tail carving. The hen is carved in a more upright head position and the drake's head is in a lower more comfort pose. Both with heads slightly turned left. Both with detailed painted feather work to bodies and nice paint blending to heads. Excellent carved nostrils, nails and mandibles. Both retain glass eyes and are signed by the maker. Overall length of the hen is approximately 6 3/8 inches; the drake, approximately 6 and 3/4 inches long. Please refer to pics. I see no wear or blemishes. Thanks for looking.
