The logo The skillet weighs 3 pounds 14 ounces and is nearly flat. I can force a movement on glass that seems to be neutralized by a playing card at about 2:00. It has widespread discoloration in the cooking surface that will tend to blend in with more seasoning as you use the pan. The cooking surface has superficial pitting as shown in the pictures, and minor casting flaws typical of a pan of that time period. Please see and enlarge all pictures as they are part of the description. If you want additional pictures of any area, don't hesitate to ask. I want you to be happy with your purchase.Sometimes I see listings where the seller says a pan is restored and it's still gunky and rusty and I'm left wondering what the seller actually did to the pan. I personally wouldn't even think of cooking a meal for my family in some of those pans. Honestly I think some people think “restored” means they’ve slapped some oil on it. Every pan I sell has been restored by removing the old seasoning/gunk via electrolysis then they are well seasoned with a minimum of three rounds of seasoning. I’m a perfectionist with a good work ethic and I always try my hardest to make every pan look as new as possible. If there is some discoloration left in a pan, it's because it's not coming off. You will NOT be cooking on some stranger’s yucky gunky mess. This beautiful skillet is ready to use or gift as soon as you get it home. I think you'll enjoy this well made, smooth pan. If you live in the Cincinnati area you would be welcome to pick up the pan in person and save yourself the shipping charges. Otherwise, it will be very carefully packed and padded to protect it during shipment. Please note that if you choose "free local pickup", this means that you will be picking up the pan within 10 days of sale in Liberty Township Ohio. It does NOT mean that I'll be shipping the pan to you for free :)
