It was probably produced in the 1970s. In addition, the general name for the various lines that the Gucci family worked on that were launched during this period is commonly referred to as ‘Old Gucci’. In case you are wondering, this line is currently discontinued, and therefore the number of pieces on the market is very small. It is not certain whether the original GUCCI was the original of this design and GUCCI Plus was a later version with the ‘Plus’ logo added, or whether GUCCI Plus was the original and the original GUCCI respected and used this design, but both the GG mark monogram and the sherry line are now in use.
