Constructed in 1822, the mill is a three-story building with a heavy timber frame and a fieldstone foundation. It features a gable roof and includes a one-story addition with a shed roof, also made of fieldstone. The mill is powered by an overshot wheel, which is a traditional method of utilizing water power for milling.
