This later issue has very high-grade laser cut balsa parts, instead of the earlier die-crunched versions. 27-3/4" wingspan when built. Plans show Copyright 1961. This example is complete and in very good condition; the box top has some minor stain spots. (Box top says, "U.S. Air Force World War 2 Fighter"; just ignore that the "Air Force" wasn't formed until a couple years AFTER World War 2 ended - it was the U.S. Army Air Corps prior to September 1947.)
