This is an example of a pottery wedding jar with the traditional shape of two chambers joined together by a central canal and a bridge handle. Hand painted with a beige background with orange and gray traditional design. One pot of this vessel represents the bride and one for the groom. The arched handle represents their unity. The space between the handle, and the two spouts is a representation of the couples circle of life. Not able to identify the year this piece was made, but it is in excellent condition and a beautiful work of art. Very unique piece! Height 4.25 Length 7.5” Width 3.5”
