Description: One Of A Kind handcrafted Log Dollhouse. Very large and heavy. 8 rooms. All wood walls with chinking and wood plank floors. Completely decorated with Colonial Williamsburg Era time period decor. Each piece hand sought after and individually ordered and purchased just for its place in the dollhouse. My wonderful, talented husband builds beautiful large dollhouses and he built this one just for me. Williamsburg Va. Is one of our favorite places to go, and we love antiques and historic homes, so he chose the Tavern Inn for its theme. We live in a 1790's historic Colonial home ourselves and we have a couple of his dollhouses displayed in our home and they are now part of our decor. When we do home tours they are guests favorite things to look at. Over the last few years my health issues have sidelined me and we have decided to start downsizing tremendously for a move to a smaller home and acreage. Each room has many wonderful items that we planned on and selected just for that space. We have spent quite a bit of money on these furnishings and we were both shocked on what we ended up spending on just this dollhouse. He has built at least 10. Our granddaughters and great granddaughter all have one built and furnished just for them. But my favorite is the complete replica of our home he built last year. Even the furnishings are copies of the real things. See the last 2 pics for seeing this awesome build to see the detail he uses in making all of his houses. I am always available for your questions and I try to point out any flaws I know about. There are overhead LED push on lights in the ceilings of each room except the 2 attic rooms. The attic addition can be lifted off and used as a one room attic if desired. The dollhouse is themed as a Colonial Williamsburg Tavern Inn. The bottom left room looking in is the Tavern. Wallpapered with a replica of a real Williamsburg wallpaper muriel. Outside on front, there is a wooden ledge between the upper windows. This is the sign ledge that a replica of a real Williamsburg Tavern sign sits. There are 2 and you can change them out,or put your own signage there,or leave open. The upper center parlor is wallpapered with a replica of William Morris wallpapers. The beautiful detailed handcrafted metal bed in the upper bedroom over the Tavern was handcrafted per order from a wonderful artisan. There are a few items that have some area of repair,and I have glued most all pieces down with a spot of pop off glue to keep them in place. Just a knife edge can pop them off if done carefully. THE WALL PICTURES WITH PAPER BACKS CANNOT COME OFF SO EASILY and may tear. This is a local pickup only. This is a large heavy wooden dollhouse and will take up some space to display it. I will be adding measurements as so as I can get them done. All of my listings are sold as is due to their age and being pre-owned and delicate. Please see pics for the best description.
