Description: This throw size quilt was a labor of love. The fabrics are beautiful and unusual featuring floral and geometric designs with surprising little animals tossed in the mix. I did not know this when I bought the fabric but was amazed at how well the prints work together, adding to its uniqueness. It is definitely OOAK. The fabrics are 100% cotton fabrics and cotton batting and was put together in a log cabin style with a 5-piece mitered border. The quilt was professionally quilted by a local long arm service here in the Hocking Hills. She did a beautiful job. The quilt measures approximately 56" x 69" and would be a perfect couch throw and would also work very well on a toddler bed. Note - One of the biggest arguments in the quilting circle is whether a quilt should be laundered before gifting or selling. I do gently launder my quilts after completion. Reasoning behind this is the fabrics are touched (a lot) during the construction process. I also like to make sure the integrity of the stitching holds and the colors do not bleed. I launder the quilt on gentle in cold water wash with perfume/dye free detergent and machine dry with one softener sheet. Thank you for your interest. I hope you will take this into consideration before balking at the price when comparing to big box or massive sellers on the www. I make these myself.
